September is the start of football season and whether you root for an NFL team or a collegiate team, it’s a sport that gets us to gather together and cheer on our team. I love hosting relaxed football viewing parties for friends and family. Eating outside and watching on a projector allows our kids to run around in the safety of our backyard while the adults can hang out and pay attention to the score! Hester & Cook papers allow easy setup and clean up which I need after a long day of cheering!

MUST-HAVES FOR YOUR VIEWING PARTY
In addition to the tabletop papers from Hester & Cook’s Pep Rally Collection, I mixed my bamboo melamine plates and bamboo flatware from Pottery Barn. I picked up the red plaid plastic cups from HomeGoods.

TIP: BE INTENTIONAL
I like to create tablescapes that require time, thought and a theme as well as tables that would be simple to throw together. I believe setting a beautiful table doesn’t need to be complicated. It’s about gathering with the ones you love. I also like to mix new and old pieces and can never resist a trip to the antique store or flea market. You never know what treasures you might find!
