The Marketing Designer at Hester & Cook Design Group, Inc. is a key role within the company, supporting the retail, online and wholesale channels. This highly relational individual has strong project management skills, is detail and solution-oriented, and has a keen eye for design and an appreciation for the Hester & Cook aesthetic. Additionally, this individual is passionate about delivering best-in-class marketing for Hester & Cook.


  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop visual aspects of H&C email campaigns, social media posts, flyers, and other graphics needed to communicate the brand message to all channels
  • Contribute to work on webstore/blog, including ideation, styling, creating graphics, etc.
  • Assist in handling all social media posts, reels, and stories to maximize the brand on all platforms
  • Track marketing campaign performances across all platforms (Google Ads, Social Ads, etc.)
  • Create and assist in management of Pinterest platform
  • Respond to all social media comments on all platforms as needed.
  • Assist with various aspects of the design process for marketing from initial concept to final production
  • Comfortable with ROI metrics on all marketing campaigns as needed, including the revenue achieved
  • Provide strategic plans for all marketing channels as required
  • Ability to execute all projects in a timely manner
  • Clearly communicating with associates outside of our organization such as vendors, influencers, customers, et al. as it relates to design and marketing projects
  • Maintain communications via project management software (Asana), phone calls, and meetings
  • Contribute to the updating of brand standards and style guidelines and ensure they are adhered to consistently
  • Ability to work independently, take a high degree of initiative, and adapt to a dynamic environment
  • Experience with an email marketing platform (ex. Mailchimp, Emma, Klaviyo)
  • Thorough knowledge of and skill using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Familiarity with Video Editing or Motion Graphics a plus 


  • Work with internal team to provide support for Wholesale markets
  • Work in the Wholesale markets in a sales capacity during market season (January, February, June, July)
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments to help execute an overall cohesive strategy and plan for customers
  • Attend Hester & Cook Design Group, Inc. team meetings and training as required
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
  • Experience with an email marketing platform (ex. Mailchimp, Emma, Klaviyo)
  • Thorough knowledge of and skill using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Familiarity with Video Editing or Motion Graphics a plus

The retail store sales associate is a critical player on our growing team. Associates are the face of Hester & Cook and are the key to a positive customer experience. We have full and part time positions available.  Both are during retail hours, and are for our Downtown Franklin location, White Bridge location and our new Hillsboro Village location.  Weekend availability required.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Genuinely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Hester & Cook brand as well as etiquette of gift-giving and entertaining

  • At least one year experience in a retail sales environment

  • Visual merchandising skills a plus

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Helping customers with any needs
  • Engaging with customers, making them feel welcome, assisted, and appreciated
  • Processing sales transactions
  • Providing top notch customer service and increasing sales through direct customer interaction
  • Providing gift wrapping services
  • Ensuring tidy and pleasing appearance of store and merchandise within
  • Perform opening/closing routines including counting till and receipt of shipments
  • Going above and beyond in providing a positive customer experience
  • Helping to coordinate and execute events to brand standards
