As stated this mug has a satisfying smooth matte texture. Its handle fits well in my grip. I originally bought 2 to bring to a dear friend who has terrible mugs for morning coffee. I ended up keeping them, buying 4 more and rotating out my Anthropologie and Nespresso mugs.
