Fishs Eddy

Fishs Eddy is a New York City home goods retailer, specializing in dishware, founded in 1985 by Julie Gaines and Dave Lenowitz. Initially selling vintage and new restaurant-supply dishes, the store now features locally made kitchenware and its own designs. It expanded from a small shop to a larger store in the Flatiron District, and also conducts wholesale operations with partners including West Elm and J Crew. Gaines maintains a vintage plate and china collection.

Hester & Cook started in the home basement of husband and wife team Robbie and Angie Hester Cook. What began as Robbie’s inspired idea of crafting a vintage door knob into a bottle stopper soon became the company’s first product, Knobstoppers. From there the company rapidly grew- offering everything from hand-crafted chandeliers to #2 pencils. Today we are best known for our paper tabletop products designed to help elevate dining experiences.
